Police Attach Property of Terrorist Handler in Handwara

In a decisive action that underscores their commitment to national security, police attached the property of terrorist handler Nazir Ahmad Ganai in Palpora village of Kralgund, Handwara, today. This operation aligns with the ongoing effort to dismantle the intricate terror ecosystem prevalent in the region.

The police spokesperson stated that this action arises from FIR No. 73/2011 registered at the Kralgund police station. Investigations revealed that Ganai, a resident of Palpora, has been orchestrating terror activities from his current base in Pakistan-administered Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK).

“Following due legal procedures and obtaining necessary sanctions from the competent authority, we executed the attachment of Ganai’s land,” the spokesperson elaborated. The operation involved the presence of both police and revenue officials to ensure compliance with legal regulations.

Authorities emphasized that this action forms part of a broader strategy aimed at dismantling terror networks operating within the community. Police remain vigilant in targeting handlers and anti-national elements who threaten peace and stability in Handwara.

In their appeal for public cooperation, police urged residents to remain alert and report any suspicious activities. They warned that strict legal action awaits those found providing support to anti-national elements. Police reiterated their dedication to maintaining law and order, reinforcing the message that terrorism has no place in society.

This operation adds to a series of steps taken by law enforcement in Jammu and Kashmir, highlighting the government’s focus on enhancing safety and security. The attachment of Ganai’s property is not just a legal measure but a statement against the forces that seek to destabilize the region.

As the situation continues to evolve, police encourage community members to unite against the terror threat. By doing so, residents can help create a safer and more secure environment for everyone in Handwara.
